I’ve been rather busy lately and haven’t gotten a chance to do what I exactly wanted to do (search out new communities) let alone update this “blog.” Incidentally, I’ve been getting private messages from some friends of mine saying that it’s probably a bad idea for me to quit the community and Another Dream. Whether or not it is, all I can really say is that there’s no point in me helping them out when I’m losing interest in it. Although my interest in Touhou isn’t completely gone, it’s waning rather quickly. It’s ironic since two new games for it just came out (SWR and SA) but neither of them managed to capture and keep my attention for too long. I’ve also begun to take notice that some of my favorite artists (like Paranoia Cat) are also moving away from Touhou. It’s probably not limited to just him either.
On another note, I can’t believe Halloween is almost already here and I haven’t done any artwork for my favorite holiday! Shame on me.

Nothing short of sticking your finger in an electrical socket is necessarily a bad idea.
Just give it a rest for a while; everyone grows out of things they’re actively involved in.
Give up on it for a while, then pick up one of the games some time later and see if you haven’t completely outgrown this interest.

Personally, I think your attention is just shifting to more important things like that one camera (think with me here). That or you’re just a bit jaded because of certain things. Well, just my take.

Likewise, I’ve gotten a little tired of Touhou. Maybe in a few months, years, I’ll get back to it, but I’ve had enough for now. It’s still fun to spread the word, however.
